Monument to Stalin, Churchill and Roosevelt

The most famous monument of Crimea is located in the village of Livadia. This settlement is part of the "Big Yalta". The figure of Lenin is cast in bronze, and the pedestal is made of red marble. The monument was opened in 1954. Later it was given the status of a monument of monumental art of national importance. "Hill of Glory"

The memorial complex is dedicated to the heroes of two wars: the Civil and the Great Patriotic War. "Anton Chekhov and the Lady with the Dog"

The monument depicts a conditional meeting between the writer and the heroine of his work. The bronze composition was placed on the embankment near the Yubileiny concert hall in 2004. The project was developed by the architect Yuri Ivanchenko, and the brothers Fedor and Gennady Parshins were responsible for its implementation. Anton Chekhov lived for some time in Yalta, where he died. In this city, he wrote a number of his masterpieces, including "The Lady with the Dog".

Monument to Mikhail Pugovkin

You can find an attraction near the Lenin Embankment. Actor Mikhail Pugovkin is depicted in the recognizable image of his character from the film "Ivan Vasilyevich Changes His Profession" directed by Yakin. The height of the monument's pedestal is a couple of centimeters, so that it does not stand out from the surrounding landscape. The bronze Pugovkin's nose glistens, as some vacationers rub it: either for good luck, or in order to attract money.

Monument to N.P. Krasnov

At the end of the century before last, Nikolai Petrovich Krasnov was the chief architect of Yalta. Even now, the city in many ways looks the way he intended. In 2015, a monument to Krasnov appeared at the intersection of Yekaterininskaya Street and the Lenin Embankment. The author is sculptor Sergei Nikitin. He depicted the architect in full growth with a folder in his right hand. The bronze statue is currently in need of renovation.

Monument to A.S. Pushkin

Opened in 2010 on a street named after the poet. The monument was made for budgetary money and in a short time in Simferopol according to the project of the architect Viktor Gordeev. Monument to Lesya Ukrainka

The opening of the monument took place in 1972 during the celebration of the centenary of the poetess Lesya Ukrainka. Diabase blocks were used as a pedestal. They were brought from the vicinity of the Crimean mountain Ayu-Dag. Sculptor - Galina Kalchenko, architect - Anatoly Ignaschenko. The authors donated their work to the city for free. Monument to F. Vasiliev

The artist Fyodor Vasiliev lived in Yalta for only a couple of years, but managed to paint many paintings with the nature of the Crimea. He died at age 24. The painter's house has not survived. The street on which he stood was later named after Vasiliev. Later, a bronze bust of Fyodor Alexandrovich appeared on it. The creation of the monument was entrusted to the local sculptor Nikolai Savitsky. Paved paths lead to the monument from different sides.

Monument to the paratroopers

The official day of the Airborne Forces in 2017 in Yalta was remembered for the appearance of a monument to Soviet paratroopers. The place of installation is a square on soda street. Nikolai Savitsky created a laconic bust of a doctor. He was placed deep in the green zone along Polikurovskaya Street and equipped with an information stand.

"Lovers' Bench"

There are similar art objects in different resort towns. But the Yalta bench, created by Vladimir Odintsov, is distinguished by its "naturalism". The author has worked on the details: from a distance, the pillows seem to be soft, and their color changes depending on the viewing angle.
